In Bowls, a capable Devon side overcame dogged opposition at Dorset to register a 133-88 victory in the EBA Middleton Cup. The current Devon squad is bristling with many emerging and established stars including England’s internationally ranked pro Ian Bond. But whilst the Devon side looks strong, many bowling greens in and around Exeter are coming under threat.

Clifton Hill ski slope to offer new course

Staff at Clifton Hill Ski Slope have set up a beginner's introduction to skiing course in an attempt to attract new members to the elitist pastime. The course will be held by German ski instructor Heinz Binz, and will include many of the elements that can be experienced whilst skiing in authentic surroundings.
