Chiefs on the warpath

Exeter Chiefs ran riot at League One opponents Moseley on Saturday, cruising to an impressive 48-12 victory. The rout included six converted tries by the Chiefs and two penalties.

With the Exeter side really gelling since the turn of the year and maintaining their unbeaten run, the side are living up to their team name by exploiting Native Indian monikers to improve on-pitch communication and spirit.

The first scores of the day were a brace of tries by lock James 'Bear Legs' Hanks which were successfully converted by Tony 'Conquering Foot' Yapp who also kicked two penalties early on. The first half also contained two more converted tries by Ben 'Walks With Brown Wind' Breeze and Jason 'Big Chief Sitting Down' Luff.

In the second half, Wade 'Dangerous Smoke Rings' Kelly and Chad 'Wandering South' Slade scored further tries with the last conversion by Adam 'Tree Lights My Fire' Staniforth.
