Miguel Pablo Dela Rodriguesz-Perez banned
The Brazilian Bowls wizard has been slapped with a 6-month suspension amidst a magnetic bowls scandal.
Spectators and fellow players have been entertained and stupefied by the sprightly figure of Rodriguez-Perez who burst onto the scene 18 months ago with a nine end demolition of reigning champ Ernie Oldgittery.
Crowds often gasped with amazement as his trademark backhand technique could make the bowls bend in an arc topping previously unheard of angles of up to 90 degrees. But it is believed that the right angle manoeuvres were only the tip of a large iceberg concerning the suspicious movements of his bowls.
Never before had anyone been able to make the bowls bend in two opposite directions before reaching the jack.
Rodriguez-Perez has always shied away from answering any questions concerning the movement of his bowls and refused to submit them to the Devon Bowls Committee who therefore hit him with the ban.
