Simiyu creams the cockles

Exeter United were restricted to a meagre 24-10 win over Exmouth "Cockles" last night. The Exeter team made up of Chiefs senior players and emerging reserves showed enthusiasm although often lacked cohesion.

The bright spot of an uninspiring match was a hat-trick from Kenyan trialist Ian Simiyu. Simiyu's pace and weaving darts are believed to be a result of his training against panthers and wildebeest in his native country.
