Exeter City one step closer

0 commentsHaving been promoted twice on the trot Exeter City FC now find themselves in League 1 playing clubs who know how to play football Exeter have managed not to lose a match.
After a slow start against Leeds with a 2-1 defeat (and a thorough 5-0 drubbing at the hands of QPR in the Carling Cup) Exeter have managed to chalk up a 1 all draw against Norwich.
This first point have put us above Wycombe and Southampton (who's creative accounting has given them a 10 point penalty) but 2 points behind the mighty Yeovil.
At this rate we'll be back in League 2 in no time. At least it should decrease the amount the club have to pay for policing the grounds.
