Footie fan fight

Police were out in force yesterday after violent clashes broke out following Exeter's 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bradford.

The incidents occurred between 5pm and 7pm with one fight involving around 50 people kicking off in Sidwell Street.

One 39-year-old Bradford fan was arrested by police and charged with affray and at least one person is known to be injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses, although the Echo have chosen to publish their own newsdesk's number, looking for photos and a story, instead of the numbers for Crimestoppers (0800 555 111) and the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary (08452 777 444).
