The Chiefs went in at half-time trailing 15-11, with many of the players complaining they could not decode the instructions being shouted at line-outs and other set pieces by the Cornish players. It's believed that throughout this season, the Pirates have employed their native Cornish language in an attempt to bamboozle opponents.
In a post-match interview, some Cornish fans were quizzed about the pronunciation of some of their words. When asked about their pronunciation of the word neither - whether they said 'nee'ther or 'ni'ther, a fan replied "Nather, us dun't use thaat wurd."
