ECFC cup run bury'd

ECFC's FA Cup run ended at Gigg Lane on Saturday in a 1-0 defeat after a spirited performance. The defeat means City can now concentrate on the prestigious cup competitions: The FA Trophy and Devon St Lukes Challenge Bowl!

ECFC will play Salisbury in the Trophy and Bideford in the Bowl, ties the calibre of which eclipse anything the third round of the FA Cup can offer.

For those of you not familiar with Bideford's imaginely titled stadium - 'The Sports Ground', look for a Subbuteo sized grandstand.
