Chiefs win rediculous name match

Rugby Union, like many English sports, since falling to the spell of professionalism (commercialisation that is) has seen many unfortunate results. Arguing with the ref, whilst not up to the Man Utd level of harassment, is sadly becoming more prevalent.

Another side-effect, also visible in cricket, is the ridiculous name phenomenon. On Saturday, Exeter Chiefs (the link between our fair city and American-Indians is still unclear) beat the "Earth Titans", a name which is even more ludicrous given the mediocrity of their performance.

In a league which also contains the Pertemps Bees and Leeds Tykes, the mascot job sector must be booming!
