City FA cup dreams begin

ECFC cruised into the first round proper of the FA Cup after a 3-1 victory away at the re-branded Ebbsfleet United.

City produced an assured performance to sweep past Ebbsfleet who until May of this year were called Gravesend & Northfleet, but changed their name to better reflect the club's position.

The ECFC squad now have two more games to get through to reach the prestigious third round and dreams of an FA Cup tie at the bright lights of Old Trafford to play Man U, Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, or Anfield to play another club set to change their name – Gerrard FC.
