Chiefs in sun dance

20/09/06
Exeter Chief's lived up to their name when performing an ancient sundance to attract a whopping crowd of over 5,200 last weekend.

Chief's Directors, aware of the dire lack of sporting attractions in the South West, have used their American Indian contacts to perform primeval rituals around the ground to attract passers by.

Despite having a stadium slap bang in the middle of nowhere, and with not a pub in sight (brilliant piece of planning for a Rugby ground!!!) fans were out in force to watch a 13-13 draw against Coventry.

It would appear that the bumper crowd on Saturday was proof of their success, or maybe it was just the copious amounts of pheromones sprayed over the new stand to preserve the plastic seats.
