City's point against Woking condemned the Surrey side to a paltry home record of played 6, won 1, drawn 5 ... unfortunately ECFC have exactly the same home record. Despite an o.g. headstart, City were held to a 1-1 draw although their counter-attacking style has brought an impressive return of 12 away goals so far. The figure would be all the more impressive mind you if they hadn't managed to ship 10 goals in those games.
Looking for bright points, after the match manager Paul Tisdale was quoted as saying "It was a very good performance, there were some very good individual performances and there were a lot of bright signs." But this doesn't disguise the fact that ECFC are currently lying eighth in the table, 10 points behind the turkeys of Torquay which can't be good.
