City were actually losing 1-0 at half-time, but remarkably the superb second-half performance from the players was inspired without any half-time antics such as throwing cups of tea, kicking boots around the dressing room or the infamous 'hairdryer treatment'.
Laid-back, king of the understatement, manager Paul Tisdale commented "I didn't have too much to say at half-time. It was disappointing that they scored a near-post goal, but we responded well, I said we needed to improve a little."
He allegedly also described Oliver Reed as a chap who liked to get a bit tipsy, Tipperary as being a little way away, the War of the Roses as a bit of a ding-dong and Jade Goody as perhaps requiring an additional IQ or two.
