Do we need the Germans?

On a slow news day, it's late night shopping in Town tonight with many shops staying open till 9pm, and for some reason the High Street is still host to a 'traditional German market'.

Why we can't have a traditional Devonshire Christmas market, we don't know, but we're sure Exeter County Council must have some reason in mind.

Presumably no right minded Exetonian would want to get up at the crack of dawn and stand about selling bratwurst in the rain.

We suggest you do your shopping online this year and avoid the meandering visitors. Just get it done quick, the Post Office are bound to strike sooner or later...
