Things heat up at ice rink

It's amazing what passes for entertainment in this town. A fat bloke in a Santa suit standing on some ice seems to be all it takes.

Quite a large number of people turned out for the Gala Opening of the temporary ice rink in Bampfylde street tonight, although how many will be able to get on the ice at any one time is anyone's guess. You'd have thought they'd have made it a bit bigger.

With hundreds of kids milling about with lethal razor sharp blades on their feet, it can only be a matter of time before someone gets hurt.
