DCC IT staff in mass walkout over pay

The IT support staff at Devon County Council all upped and walked out at 2pm today, relocating themselves to the pub after a dispute over pay.

Managers at DCC have been mostly unaffected whilst the hard working lads at the IT coal-face have found themselves facing a drop in pay of about 4-8k per annum.

An anonymous source in the department stated "The management are wankers".

Over 100 staff have been affected by the cuts and have walked out, most of which found there way to the local, leaving the council without any 1st or 2nd line IT support or any internal network administration whatsoever.

Whilst some low level managers have found themselves on the receiving end of the cuts, it's the guys at the bottom who are facing a cut of 2 pay grades who are affected the worst.
