Ice rink coming along nicely

The beginings of the Council ice rink are sprouting up in the Bampfylde Street car park, near the bus station.

The super-cooled base mats have gone down and the superstructure is mostly in place now, ready for it's December 1st Gala opening, starting at 5pm.

Tickets are already on sale from the Civic Centre in Paris Street, or you can chance your arm with their online ordering system, which was limping along at the time of writing this.

The rink will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Exeter and all profits will be going to Multiple Sclerosis.

The rink will be open from 10am-9pm until January 14th.
