Campaign for a later Christmas

22/11/06 - 0 comments
Staff at Exeter's North Bridge Inn have imposed a fine should anyone mention anything related to the festive season within it's walls.

The ban covers any refference to Christmas, Hannukah, mistletoe and even Noel Edmonds and could cost you 20 pence a pop.

"We think Christmas is a special time and it devalues it by having constant references all through November," said Edgar Coate, landlord of the North Bridge.

December 13th is when the ban will be lifed, although the ban on the man with a crinkly bottom should go on longer.
