Police don't find drugs

After receiving a tip-off, police in Exeter stopped a car near Polsloe (not Polsoe as the Echo have reported) to searched the vehicle and it's occupants for drugs.

The car and passengers were taken to Heavitree Road police station where a thorough search took place resulting in a sachet of Lemsip and 0.3g of dried coffee granules underneath the cup holder.

Officers reportedly said they hoped their 'visible presence' will 'reassure the public'.
