Calls for Echo to ban stiletto heels
1 commentFor the second time in recent memory, a stiletto heel has been used as a weapon in Devon. We're calling for the Express and Echo to start a campaign calling for a ban on all stiletto heeled shoes across the country.
We recently heard the tale of Chelsea Holman, a girl who was given an 18 month sentence for blinding a chap in Exeter high street with her stiletto shoes, and now police are hunting for a female robber who attacked two women with a stiletto shoe in the Wonford area.
It's not just a local thing either. Hundreds, if not thousands of people have been affected by stiletto related attacks, a Google search shows over 400 thousand results for 'stiletto' and 'blinded' so it's clearly an issue that is affecting our whole country.
We're calling for all stiletto heals to be banned from sale and have police run a stiletto amnesty to get this dangerous footwear off the streets and out of the hands of pissed up slappers who should have been taught how to behave properly by their parents.
This could become a political 'hot potato' with parties promising to get behind the campaign, although we can be sure Ben 'media whore' Bradshaw will be the first to jump on the campaign, although as we are undergoing an election we should point out that all other party candidates in Exeter are equally whorish.
So come on, who's behind a ban on this dangerous footwear? Maybe we're not going far enough, you can do plenty of damage with a boot. Should all footwear be banned (with the possible exception of Totes slipper-socks)?
