Don't go outside
2 commentsThe emergency services, the local councils and the MET Office are all advising that you don't go outside unless it is absolutely necessary.
Temperatures have dipped under 0° over the last few days and once again we have all gone a bit mad and the country is in danger of grinding to a halt (or should that be skidding into a ditch).
Councils were caught off-guard and have been scrabbling to get out in the gritter trucks & plows to try and make some of the roads passable again, despite the MET Office's clear warnings that the winter was showing signs of being wintry.
Hopefully those of you out shopping are enjoying the "seasonal flavour" the weather is adding to your last minute shopping, while those of you who are unlucky enough not to have time off work are having to deal with the "threat of snow".
So basically we all should have done our shopping last month and booked our time off work well in advance.
Other than that, lock your doors and windows and for god's sake, don't go outside!!!
