Terminator to review prostitute reviews

Harriet Harman, Labour's deputy leader, has called for Arnold Schwarzenegger to close a website that allows punters to rate prostitutes and their services.

The website is registered to someone from Ohio, although it appears to be hosted in California, where the Governator reigns supreme, and as such is outside the scope of UK law.

Most news reports have tried to avoid printing the address of the site, but if we're to be expected to make our own informed and educated decisions about such things then surely we need to see what they're talking about rather than getting a one sided vilification of the site from a woman on a crusade to patronise women on a global scale.

The only question is would anyone have actually heard of this site if Miss Harman hadn't drawn everyone's attention to it. For an alternative view have a read of this little article which puts forward a number of points far better than we ever could. The arguments aren't as cut-and-dried as the Echo would have you believe. But then again they are owned by the Daily Mail group.
