Tesco putting squeeze on muffin molesters
0 commentsA pair of brazen muffin munchers have had their collars felt after fingering a tasty treat in Exeter's Tesco Metro store in the High street.
The two Italian students, both 17, were caught on CCTV picking up one bun, before putting it down and choosing another. After the pair left the store the security services (or jumped up little Hitlers, whichever you prefer) grabbed both students, bundled them into a basement, shone lamps in their faces and demanded they admit to causing the holocaust.
Opinions on the Echo's website are split. Some demand the 'Tesco Two' are freed immediately as they were obviously testing the muffins for freshness, whilst others are shocked the pair think they can go round squeezing other people's muffins with no regard for public hygiene.
The Echo have helpfully provided a nice picture of a muffin in case you have forgotten what they look like.
Since their article was published this morning, International Supermarket News have picked up the story although they seem unaware of the store's campaign against customers.
