Google street view coming to Exeter (again)
0 commentsFor the last day or so, Google's street view cars have been doing the rounds in Exeter taking photos of everyone and everything.
Gloucester Road, Guys Road and Alphington Road have already been done that we know of, thanks to various sightings coming in through Twitter.
Google's cars were seen in this neck of the woods last October, but presumably they were on their way to Plymouth at that point.
It's unclear if Google's street view cars will be allowed to go through the High street, but it will be a good way for tourists to see what we have to offer. Hey, they even picked a nice day to do it.
The cities currently covered by Street View UK are: London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Bradford, Cambridge, Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Oxford, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Bristol, Coventry, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Swansea, York, Newcastle, Dundee, Southampton, Norwich and Scunthorpe (Data from the Guardian).
