Old Tiverton Road flooded

3 commentsOld Tiverton Road has been flooded as a water main has burst and flooded the road and is threatening to fill the flats at the bottom of the hill.
It seems that where they were digging up the road to replace the old water main, which was finished at the beginning of this month allegedly, the road has now been completely lifted by escaping water, which is now pouring down the street.
The police are reportedly being run ragged trying to stop people driving up the road with a fire engine down at the bottom trying to save the basement flats.

Excellent pictures. After all the trouble caused from repairing the road in the first place, they manage to waste more of our hard earned cash (along with thousands of gallons of water) trying to fix their bloody mistake! Way to go SWW, you have managed to f**k up again!
