0 commentsThe MET office 'weather experts' rebutted the claims of Saxon bishop St Swithin, saying that his claims were absolute bullshit.
The MET office bashed the bishop saying it was "highly unlikely" that it would rain for 40 days just because July 15 was a bit of a damp squib.
Yesterday was warm and sunny across the region with bright sunshine and light showers throughout the day and you should ignore the scientific advances in the years since St Swithin's death in 861 at your own peril.
In a further statement the MET office said "hokey religion and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid".
