Devon County Council fines God for rain chaos
0 commentsAfter motorcyclist Alex Hall was fined for the signage used to warn other motorists of the accident scene and diversion, the council are keen to show an even handed approach by fining God for the problems caused by the recent flooding.
The charges are mounting up against the almighty as the charges for arranging the diversions around the city will doubtless come to a much higher amount than the paltry £500 charged to Mr. Hall.
A further charge of criminal damage to the road surface will also be brought against the deity, as well as raining without due care and attention, on top of the clean-up costs which the council will be looking to reclaim from the church, who are after all his representatives on Earth.
This is not the first time the church has faced legal action following the irresponsible acts of it's Heavenly Father who is going to have to start watching what he's doing if He doesn't want to pay the consequences.
