Echo Editor shocked by boobs

The Echo has once again shown how out of touch it is with reality by reporting another shocking and sensationalist exposé about a stripper at a stag do.

The Echo reports how the woman "stripped naked in front of dozens of people" at the Black Horse pub in Longbrook Street, oiled up her breasts and "allegedly allowed a group of men to grope her".

Shock horror! How dare people have a good time at a stag do? As we previously reported this isn't the first time the Black Horse has been host to such adult entertainment and is well known for being a little bit studenty, a place where anything can happen and usually does.

As with last time, a complaint has been lodged with Exeter City Council, the local licensing authority, who will no doubt review the 'incident' and laugh themselves to another pay rise.

The comments on the Echo's own website seem to be very much against the sensationalist reporting that the they're coming to be known for in these matters, with only 1 of the 47 (as of last count) comments agreeing with the tone of the story. Everyone else seems of the opinion that if you don't want to watch a stripper then you're welcome to not watch or simply vote with your feet.

The last comment on the story raises an interesting point however. It simply states "I wonder if a group of women had smothered a male stripper in oil it would have caused such a fuss!"

In our minds, probably not. It seems the lady in question only got her baps out, not the full hairy clam (although she may well have been cleanly shaven) so if a bloke turned up, covered himself in baby oil and proceeded to let a hen party run their hands over his body we wouldn't bat an eyelid. OK so maybe the men in the bar would have chosen that moment to go out to the smoking area for a quick one, but the council would certainly not have been notified.

Maybe it's just jealousy on the part of whoever reported this. Maybe they're simply in need of more male attention and wishes she (it could have been a bloke but I very much doubt it) could have been up there covered in oil.

We checked the official website's gallery in hope of finding a few pictures of the offending wench, but to no luck I'm afraid.
