Echo wasted police time

After all the fuss and noise the Echo made about the Police officer who suggested that crooks could do with having some sense knocked in to them, the verdict is in.

The Police Complaints Commission has decided that the 'incident' warrents a 3 day suspension of pay, and probably a slap on the wrist for being a naughty boy.

In the mean time, for the last year the officer has been on suspension of duties, on full pay. So not only have they caused stress and grief to the poor guy in question but they have cost this city a police officer on the street for a year.

Way to serve the city.
