Get off my bus you mutha!
1 commentTwo Exeter mums on the way to pick up their children from school have been callously turfed off of one of the city's buses by an uncaring and rude driver.
We've heard of previous problems with mums getting on buses, but this new story really takes customer dissatisfaction to a whole new level.
This time, instead of courteously asking the two mums to fold up their buggies to make room for a disabled passenger, he chucked them off the bus and refused to refund the tickets they had purchased for the journey they could no longer take.
Now we need to be absolutely clear on this point, as there are a few who may take homage to this, but there would have been no problem if the driver had asked them to fold their buggies to make room for our 4 wheeled friend, but instead he was simply rude, as per usual.
Michelle Hargreaves, managing director of Stagecoach South West, headed up the clean-up operation by saying:
"We have spent a great deal of time training our staff in ensuring they deal with issues which may arise while operating our services ... We educate our staff to assist all our customers, including wheelchair users, and if anyone is occupying the wheelchair space, drivers politely ask customers to fold down push-chairs and move further into the vehicle.
"It would appear in this instance the driver may not have advised the customers with push-chairs of this and we will investigate this matter further."
It's unlikely this will cut any sway with anyone who knows how genuinely crap Stagecoach can be. Surely now is the time for some competition in the field.

Where do we start? First of all, Block caps. Nothing makes text harder to read on a screen than that. There's a distinct lack of apostrophes, and misuse of past and present tense. The (mis)use of the word 'cause' is simply unforgivable, but combined with a repeated use of 'was' as a plural verb... Maybe these ladies should be heading back to school instead of popping more kids out of the womb.
(And yes, we know we're not exactly the grammar police, but at least we make an effort...)
