Phone sex councillor steps down

Bideford Town Council have said that sex worker and part time Lib Dem councillor (or is that the other way round) Myrna Bushell has handed in her resignation from the post.

Bushell, who goes by the name of Jessica for her night-time activities, was previously brought to the limelight when 3 other Lib Dem councillors resigned over what they considered to be her unacceptable position (they obviously prefer the bog standard missionary - Ed). A joint statement issued by the three declared: "We believe that our integrity and principles will be compromised if we stay."

That was back in July last year, but the cloud of controversy has followed her although she is now standing down due to "personal circumstances and ill health". If it's a sore throat she can probably get the tax back on the Beechams.

'Jessica' is available for hire for kiss-a-grams, strip-a-grams and a few other adult oriented activities, just don't ask her opinion on the Euro while you're paying £1.50 a minute to talk to her.

Interestingly enough, having her own sex line did make her the most easily contactable councillor in the country, although apparently the most commonly asked question by her parishioners was "what are you wearing...?".
