Man actually jailed in Exeter
0 commentsIn a shocking change in policy, a man who appeared at Exeter Crown Court on Friday was actually sent to prison.
As unheard of as it is, it seems that Judge Graham Cottle has sent people to prison on several previous occasions!
This latest imprisonment comes after an unprovoked drunken attack which resulted in a broken ankle for the victim. Thankfully the Teignbridge man is now facing time behind bars and looking behind him before he picks up the soap in the showers.
Knowing the justice system as it is, he'll probably only be in there a week or two after time spent on remand and good (?) behaviour are taken into account, so before long he'll be back out on the street, staggering around with a can of Special Brew looking for someone else to take it all out on.
What a wonderful world.
