As part of their ongoing 'Credit Crunch Avenger' series of features the Echo has shockingly condoned growing your own 'herbs' at home.

The article encourages readers to grow their own to save money (and presumably so they stop funding terrorists by buying their greenery elsewhere).

In recent months the M5 SPEC cameras have caught numerous drug dealers shipping their wares down from Bristol after failing to tax and insure their vehicles correctly.

Presumably this drought is what's prompted the Echo to show people how to get high on their own supply.

The article ends 'And while you're at it, you could consider a kit for growing mushrooms in the airing cupboard.' Sage advice indeed.
