Someone else's problem now

25/07/08 - 2 comments

Devon & Cornwall police have successfully managed to completely ignore a pair of drug dealers operating out of Beacon Heath, choosing to exile them instead of dealing with the problem.

Jonathan Burns, 19, and Anthony Busutill, 18, both from Manchester were both given a slap on the wrist and told to piss off after selling class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine.

If it was just pot being dealt then an ASBO might have been more appropriate, but when cocaine and heroin are in the mix you would have thought something a little stronger than a stern talking to would have been in order.

The local chip wrapper oddly seems to see this as a success, even after their recent headlines about the prolific use of cocaine in council toilets.

Don't we put criminals in prison any more?

I hope when they were kicked out of Devon, never to return they sent them to Cornwall rather than back up country. That'll learn the bastards.
