Stagecoach hates mums and the environment
1 commentToday we bring you a letter form a concerned Exeter mum who asks "Has anyone else noticed how Stagecoach hate mum's bringing their buggies onto their buses?
"I have to use their buses to get around and they always ask me to fold down my buggy, which I add is not easy if you're loaded down with shopping bags and a sleeping baby. You would think that they would be a little nicer and more accommodating to the people who use their buses but apparently not.
"Another thing with Stagecoach is that on the majority of the buses have steps and the bar that goes up the middle... again to stop buggies getting on! How wheelchair users cope I don't know.
"Bus drivers have refused to stop for me several times because I had too many bags and a sleeping baby in a buggy. Do they think that it is safer for a baby to be sat on a mum's lap with no seatbelt than to be safe and strapped into their buggies with the breaks on. People are always making sure that kids have the correct car seats in their cars so that children are safe, so why can the same not be done for buses?? Surely Stagecoach needs to look at this and change their ways..."
So there you have it. It seems that Stagecoach would rather all mums go out and buy their own damn transport and get around in stupidly large 4x4s with bull-bars on the front. To hell with the emissions.
So much for caring about the environment and trying to use public transport. We need to get the Japanese running the buses, they might even run on time then aswell.
