101 Free Things to Do in Exeter

25/06/08 - 2 comments
Exeter City Council have just released a 32-page booklet entitled "101 Free Things to Do in Exeter" with plenty of things for youngsters to try in the city this summer.

Here at ThisIsntExeter we've come up with a few choice examples of the free things that those unruly youths are already up to:

  1. Hang around the shops
What could be more entertaining than hanging around outside the local Spar or Co-op and chatting with your mates? You can even ask people to buy drinks for you, which leads us to:

  2. Drinking in the park
Why not buy some cheep alcho-pops and get drunk in the park out of the way of everybody? You're off the road and when you fall over there'll be nice soft grass to fall unconscious on.

  3. Get pregnant
This generally follows getting them drunk in the park. There's nothing quite like the feeling of a warm unconscious teen. Just don't get them too drunk or they're liable to piss themselves too, unless you're into that kind of thing.

  4. Set fire to yourself in a toilet cubical
This is a relatively new thing to try, which involves going to a restaurant, locking yourself in the toilet and setting fire to yourself. Fun for all the family.

  5. Try running around in a field, or graveyard
Great for keeping fit and getting plenty of fresh air, just don't post a video of it on the YouTube as the Echo are a bunch of joyless bastards.

  6. Set up a meeting with a paedophile
Arrange to meet up with all those mysterious friends that have added you on mySpace or FaceParty. You can either film it and set them up with the filth or go back and do options 1,2 and 3 again.

So there you have it, plenty of things to get the kids out from under your feet this summer.

Surely "have a wank" should be on this list!

Presumably there's enough wankers in the council already.
