Balfour Beatty put in wrong estimate again

0 comments4 days after Balfour Beatty closed Heavitree for 10 weeks the roads were open and clear once again, proving that the estimates the company provides are miles off the mark.
It could be that the massive holes dig in the middle of the roads have been filled in so people from Exeter can actually get out to the County Show without having to travel halfway to Topsham and back.
If that is the case then it does seem a little odd that they started the work only to pack it all away after only 3 days of work.
The other alternative is they invoiced South West Water for a full 10 weeks work and managed to skip off early after digging a few holes and standing about for a bit.
It's a theory...
