Illegal fire storage in Polsloe

Firemen were called out last night after a couple were found illegally storing fire in their shed in Polsloe.

The couple had heard of the fire shortage in Tiverton, where fire can go for nearly £5 per flame, and had been stockpiling fire in their shed, with intent to supply.

Crews found the builders storage shed with the use of a thermal imaging camera and closed in on the location with hoses and breathing apparatus.

The illegal fire supply was completely destroyed, although some of the flames were taken away for testing.
