Did anyone else notice the blizzard?

Last weekend the clocks went forward and we had the first warm week of the year, however this weekend saw Exeter besieged by a full-on blizzard.

Having thundered overnight, rain and sunshine in the morning the unexpected snowfall, which lasted around half an hour, completed the set, giving us pretty much every type of weather there is in one day.

"It's the first time we've seen snow in 4 years"

Hopefully this harsh weather should thin out the northern drifters that are currently littering our streets, hanging out-side banks and generally hanging about looking hungry when you come out of Burger King and KFC, although they're probably used to it. It's pretty grim up north as it is.

The heavy snow hardly had time to build up to a drift before it stopped, although it seems most of the country had massive amounts overnight and can enjoy it all properly.

One of these days we'll get enough snow to close roads and give us all the day off. We can dream can't we?
