Couple caught smuggling fire
0 commentsAs the sun starts to come out a bit more and the weather starts to get a bit nicer, it's inevitable that the influx of grockles to the region will rise, but some of them are bringing an unwelcome guest.
Fire crews from Cullompton responded to a call yesterday near junction 27 of the M5 where a couple were smuggling fire in a caravan.
It's unclear at this time where the fire was being brought from, but crews put a stop to it in a field near Tiverton. It looks like they'll be without this modern marvel for some time yet.
The import and exporting of fire can be a risky business and even back in 1996 there were problems with containment during export procedures.
Visitors to the region are reminded that locally sourced fire is available throughout most of Devon.
