Wind breaks out across region again

Little over a week ago people were waking up to reports that there had been wind during the night, not an uncommon occurrence in some households, now it looks like we're in for a little more.

The scaredy cats at the met office have pretty much issued a 'warning' for the entire country, with the exception of the North-East and the Lothian borders. Never has living in Newcastle looked so appealing.

Strangely enough, there hasn't been a deluge of people to the area hoping to escape the storms as what's becoming the UK's Katrina ravages our country. It's thought that being swept out to sea is still a more appealing prospect.

Thankfully the Cornish seem to have been harder hit than the rest of us, so even as the water slowly rises and sheds get blown away we can rest assured that somewhere in Cornwall there are people far worse off than the rest of us.

Every cloud eh?
