You wait ages for a new radio station...

It's typical isn't it. Just when you thought the local airwaves couldn't get any busier, another new local radio station opens it's doors to listeners.

Phonic FM is the progression of Vibraphonic, the city's sometimes station that covers the Exeter music festival, which under the new name will now broadcast all year round on 106.8 FM and cover other events such as the Exeter Animated festival, the Respect festival and the Autumn festival. We never new this place had so many festivals.

We had a quick listen and it had some rather pleasant Jazz, nice, and is available via a stream on it's web site, so if you're at work or school, give your system admin something to cry about and use up all that bandwidth he was saving to download porn.
