Guildhall joins Princesshay in anti-photo stance

The Guildhall Shopping Centre has now also said it would like it's patrons to request permission to take photographs in the mall beforehand because "these days you cannot always tell the normal people from the weirdos".

From what we can tell, it's is a hotbed of iniquity as Andy McNeilly, Guildhall shopping centre manager, sais: "We have had two successful prosecutions in connection with indecent photography" and that "Sadly there are some odd people about".

So it seems that if you think you might want to take a photo of something in either of the shopping centres you're going to need prior permission to do so.

At least The Guildhall has a proper contact email on it's website to send your requests.

Weirdos need not apply.
