Fight for craptacular crown
The station is part of the London Media Company and is "designed to appeal to a broad range of adult listeners, particularly those aged 35-54, with a full service of comprehensive news and local information, engaging speech features and conversation and a wide variety of music from the 60s to the present day."
At the moment if you tune in to 107.3 FM you can hear a test transmission of the type of music they'll be beaming in to the city, which isn't too bad when all's said and done, but the introduction of annoying DJ's could change all that.
Currently the Devonshire twang resonating from Gemini is enough to put off even the hardiest listener, but we'll see what Exeter FM is like when it launches next month.
