Freddy got fingered
He said: "I took the bottle out of the fridge to have a drink and then later that day my girlfriend also had some - that's when she saw the object at the bottom of the bottle."
The two litre bottle of Coca-Cola Zero, bought from the Co-op in Queen Street, was bottled in Wakefield on an unmanned line so how the finger got in the bottle remains a mystery.
A spokesman for Coca-Cola said it could not comment until the sample had been returned to the company and it had been investigated.
