Twenty quid well spent

16/11/07 - 1 comment

Tracey Pearce, 25 from Beacon Heath, has done what virtually everyone else in the city has been wanting to do for some time by giving the police a good kick up the arse.

The mother-of-two managed this feat after an officer was called out to her house on a domestic abuse call. She is said to have been suffering an asthma attack and became frightened when the boys in blue tried to arrest her, lashing out and catching PC Claire Drinnan right square in the rump.

Ms Pearce admitted recklessly assaulting the officer in the execution of her duty and was ordered to pay the officer £20 in compensation.

All in all that's not a bad price really. How about a nice fund-raising activity for Children in Need, I'm sure there are plenty of folks who'd happily pay twenty pounds or more to give them a kick in the Constable.
