Exeter Uni on green push

The Students and staff at Exeter University will be running a 'Green Week' running from the 5th to the 16th of November including talks about sustainability, carbon emissions and climate change.

The events kicked off yesterday with a talk on South West Water's measures to help wildlife at their sites, although presumably that mostly included pouring diesel and other chemicals into drinking water and local rivers.

The green week fortnight culminates in a seminar on Climate Change Speaker Training which, whilst not educating you on anything environmentally related, will make you sound like you know what you're talking about.

All very informative, I'm sure you'll agree, although simply showing students how to recycle Dominos pizza boxes and beer cans could result in a great deal more being done.
