Houses nobody can afford.
Back in July we saw how the region needed 10,000 new houses and with these new 778 houses, added to nearly 20 in the Princesshay development, the city is on target to house nearly a quarter of one percent of the people who actually need housing.
The only remaining hurdle is that any housing that is built will be instantly snapped up by non-Exetonians who will probably get them on Buy-to-Let mortgages and roger the locals roughly in a very uncomfortable place, and I don't mean the back of a Volvo.
One day the Council will look up the word 'affordable' in the dictionary.
