Dusty Bin visits Exeter

As part of the 'Love Life - Hate Rubbish' campaign, organised by East Devon District Council, Exeter City Council, Teignbridge District Council and Devon County Council, Dusty Bin has been drafted in to remind people they can be fined for dropping litter.

Wandering about the Cathedral Green the newly dubbed 'Trashman' displayed her(?) shapely pins and provided a photo op for local councillors and politicians as well as something to letch over.

Disappointingly it was evident that 'Trashman' was not interested in green issues as part of her publicity photos showed her throwing away a carrier bag, rather than saving it to be recycled.

Two teenagers attempted to use 'Trashman', who incidentally was wearing a big red sign saying 'Use me' (very Freudian indeed), but found that the elaborately designed costume lacked a slot in which to put refuse.

I wonder which office is missing a secretary today...
