Exeter prison is full of criminals

Prison officers at HMP Exeter have discovered counterfeit notes being used to pay for contraband goods and items including drugs.

This revelation comes as a shock to dealers in the area who thought that the prison population were the salt of the earth.

"These guys have done me out of nearly £400," said one entrepreneur who wishes to remain anonymous. "By the time I realised it was hooky I'd already given them 4 ounces. I think it's disgusting that these criminals are allowed to take advantage of small businessmen like me."

The notes are of high quality, so one of the lags in the library probably has access to a colour photocopier, although the watermark is still causing them some problems.

The guards were surprised to find the counterfeit notes as usually everything inside is paid for in packets of fags, which are much harder to fake.
